Women's: St. Lawrence (6-13-1) vs. Brown (1-12-4)

Its been a rough go of late for the women, as they've lost 6 straight, but this weekend is a great opportunity to get back on the right track with some ECAC competition. They sit in good position in the ECAC, and two wins will propel them up the standings.
Tonights opponent, Brown, is the worst team in the ECAC, just looking at records. They score just over a goal and a half per game, average less than 20 shots on net per game, and give up 2.75 goals per game. This is a very favorable matchup for SLU. Carmen MacDonald shouldn't face to much work, as her defense continues to block large volumes of shots. The shots she does see shouldn't be too hard to stop given her excellent play recently. The porous Brown defense is a good opportunity for Rylee Smith to add to her career goal total as she pursues the 50 goal mark. Also, freshman Alex Moore and Brooke Webster can continue to add to their solid point totals.
The key players for SLU will be Kirsten Padalis and Dayle Wilkinson.  These are the two best shot blocking defensemen on the team, and also contribute offensively.  Whether its MacDOnald or Guilia Mazzochi in net, if Wilkinson and Padalis play well, I think the Saints will have no issue winning.
