Women's: McGill Recap

Saturday afternoon, the women traveled up to McGill for an exhibition game.  Mikaela Thompson got her second start of the year, after a shutout of Montreal in exhibition earlier this year.
Rylee Smith gave the Saints a lead with less than 5 minutes to go in the first, and Kayla Raniwksy scored on the power play, and St. Lawrence appeared to be in control of the game.
Not long after Raniwsky's goal, McGill scored to narrow the lead to one, and the second period ended with the identical score.
The third period began as SLU held the lead, but McGill scored twice, the game winner coming with just 93 seconds to go, to earn a 3-2 exhibition win.
Thompson saved 13 of 14 shots, before Giulia Mazzochi entered the game and stopped 13 of 15.
The women play Quinnipiac and Princeton next weekend on the road in more ECAC competition.
