Men: Princeton preview

The men head back on the road this week, playing Princeton on Friday at Hobey Baker Rink. Princeton is the worst team in the ECAC, record wise, but trails SLU by only 3 points, so this is a big game for the Saints. They should win this game, but they also need to. If they are going to make anything happen in the remainder of the season, they have to beat teams like Princeton.
Princeton scores less than two goals a game, and allows more than 3.5 per game, so this might be the most ideal matchup in the ECAC for the Saints. Princeton's leading scorer is Tucker Brockett, who has just 11 points,  while SLU has 5 skaters with 20+ points. Princeton also takes a lot of penalties, and isn't great on the PK. If SLU can capitalize on the power play when they have chances, I wouldn't be to worried about this game.
Essentially, all the Saints need to do is play their style of hockey, and carry the physicality they played with last weekend into this game, and they shouldn't have an issue.
That being said, Princeton is a desperate team, who will do whatever it takes to get wins. SLU is a team looking for wins too, but the Saints have a lot more talent on the roster. They just need to take advantage of it. A good team performance on Friday will be huge, given that they play Quinnipiac on Saturday. The puck drops in Princeton at 7:00
